Dear Central Families:

Parent-Teacher Conferences On-line Scheduler

We are quickly nearing the end of the first term and report cards will be going home soon. Our Parent/Teacher conferences will be telephone conferences again this year and will be taking place on Thursday November 25th from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Parents/Guardians can access and schedule Parent-Teacher phone conferences beginning today using an on-line booking system. 
Parents are asked to schedule their Parent-Teacher phone conference on-line at: https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/Halifax_Central_Junior_High

Conferences are set at 10 minutes. We ask that in consideration for other parents that you choose only two subject teachers to make appointments with per child. If your child receives Resource support or Learning Centre support you will be able to schedule an appointment with Ms. Madigan in addition to your two subject choices. If you would like to schedule an appointment with the school counselor please sign up with Ms. DeLory, again these will not count in your 2 subject appointments.

You will land on a page with all teachers listed, choose one teacher which will prompt you for your childs name and your information. In PTFast, you first register with name and contact information after choosing the teacher. They then create a registration and send you a confirmation email with a link to choose your appointment time. You can also add and change both registrations and appointments.

When registering please include the phone number that is best to reach you on during the time of the appointment.

Parent-Teacher Phone Conferences will take place on Thursday, November 25th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m.
There are No Classes for students on Thursday, November 25th, 2021.  There will be a professional development session for staff in the morning and Parent-Teacher Phone Conferences in the afternoon.
