Halifax Central Junior High
School Supply List 2020-21

As we cannot share materials this school year, each student will need the following clearly labeled supplies:

A pencil case with:
- pencils (sharpened)
- a pencil sharpener
- pens
- erasers
- 1 fine tip Sharpie black pen
- a highlighter
- scissors
- 2 glue sticks (1 can be kept at home until needed)
- a pack of coloured pencils (to be replenished throughout the year)

1 Large zip up binder (Five Star brand or similar) - clearly labelled with first and last name
2 Packages of dividers
1 Package of loose leaf
1 Homework folder (plastic folder with 2 pockets) clearly labelled with first and last name
1 Ruler
1 Calculator (around $5) - binder calculators are the easiest to keep track of
**Grade 9's require any basic scientific calculator (approximately $15 - $20)

Grade 8 Math only: 1 graph scribbler

Band students only: Standard of Excellence book 2 (blue) for their instrument. These can be purchased at Long and McQuade. Plus a two pocket folder. The grade 7’s won’t need these until after Christmas, but they will need them.

Please Note:  As the school year unfolds, individual teachers may require other additional supplies.
