We are in week one of your schedule Day C

Tomorrow October 31st will be our next themed day and it will be Halloween!!!!  You can wear your costumes all day, no masks will be permitted.

**Parents please ensure to call the safe arrival line 902-421-6777 press 1 if you child is absent or late (both for am/pm classes)

“In connection to our school assembly September 16th in which we outlined the procedures for late arrivals.  When your student has a late more than 3 times we are requesting that the student stay after school for 15 minutes.  After the 3 unexcused late arrivals your student is now asked to stay for 15 minutes each day that he/she/they is late.  If your child is a “no show” for a detention they will be asked to stay 30min the next day.  An email will be sent to advise you of your students’ detention.   Anytime that you would like to excuse a late so that it does not count towards a detention, please feel free to email me at krista.clarke@hrce.ca or call 902-421-6777 press 1.”

Students are required to sign in in the main office due to arriving late or if they are leaving early for the day a parent/listed contact is required to sign the student out

October 28th - November 1st, Halifax Central Junior High is participating in a “WE Scare Hunger” campaign.  The purpose of this campaign is to collect food items or cash donations for Feed Nova Scotia.  The homeroom that collects the most donations will win warm, freshly baked cookies for the whole class!!!!! 

Choir forms are in the office please see Ms. Clarke, all are welcome to join!!! There is a $25 fee.  Choir is every Wednesday at noon hour
